We are currently accepting applications for the following positions:

Reservations / Guest Services (Part-Time / Full-Time, Year-round)

As the face of Fernie Lodging Company, our frontline staff are essential to the success of our business. Guest Services staff are often the first and last person our guests communicate with. Reservations staff are responsible for marketing and booking our extensive vacation rental properties to potential guests in our on-mountain call centre. This position requires candidates to be comfortable with and proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows XP and the entire Office suite of applications. Experience with the RDP property management system would be a benefit.


Seasonal positions run from early December 2008 to mid April 2009.

Guest Services / Night Audit

As the face of Fernie Lodging Company, our frontline staff are essential to the success of our business. Guest Services staff are often the first and last person our guests communicate with.

Maintenance Assistant

Working closely with our Guest Services Team ensuring that all rental properties are in the very best condition for our guests and owners. Candidates have experience in carpentry, drywalling, small appliance repair, plumbing, electrical and computer use.

Accounting and Administrative Assistant

The primary function of this position is daily accounting verification of Front Desk, Retail and Lift Ticket Sales, and Accounts Receivable / Payable. Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel experience required.

Cafe Food Preparation / Serving

Working in our boutique Cafe, this is a multifunction role involving light food preparation and serving. Must have Serving It Right and FoodSafe certifications for British Columbia.

Cafe Supervisor

This position will be responsible for the day to day supervision of the cafe, including ordering, preparation, planning and staff scheduling. Must have Serving It Right and FoodSafe certifcations for British Columbia. Prior experience required.
