At Fernie, you don't have to go to great lengths to experience this feeling - the resort and surrounding area offers a multitude of adventure, both in-bounds and out-of-the-way. With an average snowfall of 8.75 metres or 350 inches, a resort or cat skiing ticket can be yours to experience the steeps, trees and powder of Fernie's alpine terrain. Summer resort activities include lift-accessed mountain biking, hiking and sightseeing from July 1st to Labour Day.
